This season, the Mount Tahoma boys basketball team has shown a lot of growth. With a first-year head coach leading the team, the focus has been on building chemistry and improving each game. The coach shared that he has seen big progress in how players communicate, understand plays, and work together on the court. He also said his first year at Mount Tahoma has been exciting and rewarding, especially watching the team improve and buy into the team goals.

Players agreed that their chemistry has gotten better as the season has gone on. Zion said, “I think our chemistry has gotta better since the start of the season,” showing how the team has become more connected. As they continue playing together, the team believes their improved teamwork gives them a real chance at making the playoffs. Everyone is putting in effort to help the team succeed each game.

Players are also working toward personal goals this season. Mikkah talked about his role by saying, “I think I’m one of the smartest person on the court so I think I contribute a lot to the team,” showing his confidence and leadership. Logan shared his goal, saying, “I’m trying to get first team all-league this year.” With strong motivation, better chemistry, and supportive coaching, the Mount Tahoma boys basketball team is focused on finishing the season strong.
