Right after the final bell rang, Mount Tahoma High School didn’t quiet down like usual. Instead, it turned into a full-on race zone as students launched into a scavenger hunt spotlighting the Class of 2026—and it quickly became one of the most competitive and funny events caught on camera this year so far.

Four teams jumped in: Healthcare, Girls Flag Football, Viet Club, and the Football boys. Each group had only 20 minutes to hunt for clues hidden all around campus. On the back of each clue was a team name, ensuring only the correct group could move forward. That didn’t stop students from running across courtyards, checking stairwells, and sprinting to their next clue.

To keep things official, Mr. Kagochi stepped in to help run the event, announcing time checks and the final countdown over the intercom. Hearing his voice echo through the halls added suspense and pushed everyone to move faster.

Halfway through the hunt, the Football boys were loud and confident, convinced they had secured the win. But the celebration didn’t last long. It turned out they were mistaken—and they may have tried to bend the rules to claim victory. The moment surprised everyone watching and became one of the funniest parts of the video.

Even with the intense competition, the scavenger hunt highlighted what makes Mount Tahoma special. Teams relied on communication, quick thinking, and trust in each other. Clubs like Viet Club and programs like Healthcare showed pride in their identities, while athletes brought high energy and teamwork.
