Due to weather conditions, all schools are closed Thursday, December 1.
- All schools are closed
- All activities are canceled, including before and afterschool.
- No out-of-district transportation.
- District buildings are closed, 12-month employees are working remotely.
All twelve-month school employees should work remotely. Some work groups, such as Maintenance, Custodial, and Security staff, who provide services on site may be requested to come in. Please reach out to your department head or acting department head for any specific work assignments.
We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates if needed. Please check our website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages for updates. You can report the unique street conditions in your neighborhood to transportation@tacoma.k12.wa.us.
The safety of our students, staff and families is our highest priority, please be careful out there and have a safe day.
